Podcasting for SchoolsA podcast is a series of audio files that are made available for others to hear at their convenience. Until you use podcasting to engage your students, it's hard to fathom how powerful podcasting really is. It can be used to encourage students to use their creative talents for practical purposes and to not only take responsibility for their own preparation and presentation, but also for the learning of others. Using our new podcasting widget, MP3 files and videos can now be embedded into your school website, creating a rich multimedia experience. Uploaded podcasts will appear with a small controller bar to allow the podcast to be started, stopped and the volume to be altered. The examples below are just a small sample of the podcasts that have been uploaded using School Jotter's quick and easy podcast publishing software:
