WELCOME FROM THE HEADTEACHER

Since its opening in 1977, Holy Family Catholic High School has provided an excellent Catholic education for thousands of young people. We work very hard to provide a secure and friendly environment in which they can flourish.

As a smaller than average school we are able to get to know our young people really well and can respond to each and every one as an individual. We consider it vitally important that we get to know the families of our students so that we can work together for the benefit of the children in our care. Consequently, the school is well known for its family atmosphere and the warmth of its working relationships. We are proud of our ‘can do’ culture through which we constantly strive to ensure that every student not only achieves his or her very best but is also ambitious for the future.

Our ‘Mission Statement’ reflects the values and beliefs we consider to be at the heart of our school. Holy Family is founded on ‘gospel values’ and subject to availability of places, welcomes non-Catholic children whose parents wish to see them educated in a Christian environment. 

In September 2009 Holy Family becomes a Business and Enterprise Specialist College. The status presents the school with a new and very exciting opportunity to raise standards further across the curriculum, develop an enterprising ethos and through both, better equip our young people to take their place in society.
