FEW Events
Friends of Edmund Waller has done it again! “‘Chef’ Christie’s food made my day. The chicken just melted in my mouth.” The children had the opportunity to play outside with their friends, play football in the football cage, dress up in their fancy clothes while their parents/carers socialised with and other. It was a great picture to see the whole community enjoying themselves all under ‘one roof’. It was also a great way of showing the community the commitment FEW and Edmund Waller have with working with each other to carry out a successful Spring Disco. The money raised at the disco will go into FEW’s pot and will be used to fund different ventures for the children in the future.

April saw the Spring Disco come and go and it was a hit. Everybody enjoyed themselves. Not only was there the dancing and music playing in Lloyd hall but there was also face painting, eating the doughnut with no hands, tattooing, hair braiding, a tuck shop, delicious jacket potatoes with filling and not to mention the mouth watering chicken with rice and peas courtesy of ‘chef’ Christie.
