Our Work

Our Class Celebration will be on
Thursday, 28th February 2013 at 2.40 pm.

Year 4 enjoyed a walk down the canal to take part in the Big Litter Clean Up.  We are pleased to say our canal is looking especially clean now.  We also got to look around the 'Pride of Sefton' barge.

We have been investigating how to make a circuit and how it works.

What makes a bubble?

Year 4 enjoyed a science investigation on bubbles and looked at the properties.

As part of the Science curriculum, we have been investigating temperature of water as part of our topic 'Keeping Warm'.

Year 4 had a great time in PE using the apparatus.

As part of the Art syllabus, Year 4 have been sketching 'Count Olaf' from the series of Unfortunate Events.  They have also been writing about this character in Literacy.

Year 4 are learning to play the violin as part of their music lessons.  They are getting better each week.

We enjoyed wearing our PJ's today as part of Children in Need charity celebrations.  Thank you for your contributions.

"Our first match was amazing.  We lost, but we all worked very hard and tried our best.  Our Head teacher, Mr MacAreavy, Mr Merivale and Mr Mainwaring came to support us. We are a brilliant team, and I am very proud of us all." reported Elizabeth.
