The School Day

The school site is open from 8:45 and all children and parents walk around the right side of the building, along the path through the garden, dropping children off at their classroom doors – this is a great time for a quick chat with your child’s teacher. To minimise disruption, and keep children safe at all times, you won’t be able to come through the classrooms into the corridors, so if you need to come to the school office we ask you to come back to the main entrance of the school.

The morning begins at 8:55 and this is when learning begins. It is really important that all children are in class and ready to learn at 8:55, as we have so much learning to pack in. The school day ends at 3:15 and parents pick up children from the classroom doors.

There is a short mid morning break and children are able to have a snack to eat at that time. We are a healthy school, so please send in a healthy snack rather than crisps or chocolate. Could we ask that NO NUTS are in snacks as we do have children with nut allergies in school.
