School Council
We have a fantastic, able and very active school council. Each yea,r two children are elected by their class to serve as school councillors. They have regular meetings and feed back to their class via circle time and school assemblies. They have been fully involved in setting our behaviour policy and expectations, deciding on our Citizenship Award and choosing to wear school uniform, and they helped us to interview for our Deputy Head Teacher.
As with every subject, the School Council has an action plan outlining what will happen during the year. Targets are set in place to ensure that the School Council is involved in a variety of decision that will affect the children. As a Rights Respecting school, Glenfrome takes pupil voice very seriously as every child has the right to information that will affect their lives.
