The Governors and School Leadership Team have been in discussions about converting to Academy Status.
Becoming an Academy means that the school has a budget directly from the Government, be outside Local Authority control and run by a board of Governors through a charitable trust.
Our Governors and School Leadership Team have explored the issue for some considerable time and have decided to investigate further by preparing an application to convert for the Secretary of State to consider. This means that your views will now be sought through a consultation.
