Festival of Youth Sport Winners!

Some children from years 1 and 2 took part in The Spring Festival of Youth Sport  and came home WINNERS!

They took part in the multiskills event alongside four other schools. This involved playing lots of skills games in which they had to score points against the clock. The children showed some excellent running, jumping and throwing which put them in first place!

Although the weather was very wet and dismal, it did not dampen the childrens' spirits as they paraded around the track during the opening ceremony. The theme for the Spring Festival is St George's Day and the children were proudly waving their flags and sporting some jaunty hats!
