Key Stage 1 SATs Results
When the children are in Year 2, during May and June, the teachers take small groups of children and assess their reading, writing, spelling and maths. Children are continually assessed throughout the year in all subjects. The results of the end of year assessment for English, Maths and Science are sent to the Local Authority.
The National expectation is that children will achieve level 2b in Year 2; 2C is slightly below the National Expectation and level 3 is well above average.
