School Improvement Planning - We need your ideas!

We are just coming to the end of the two year School Improvement Plan 2009 – 2011. I am pleased to report that very significant progress has been made in most of the areas identified in 2009 although inevitably some of our plans have had to respond to the changing national and local picture, the new coalition government policy changes and the well reported budget constraints.

This means that we are now busy writing a new improvement plan for 2011 – 2013 and we need your help!

Fairfield exists to provide a top quality service for the pupils & young people who attend, their families and carers and to support other schools to provide excellent provision for pupils with special educational needs.  We strive to work together with families and other services to provide a ‘Team Around The Child’ approach with Fairfield as a ‘One Stop Shop’.

To make sure that we are hitting the mark and focusing on the things you feel are important please will you take a little time to complete the questionnaire below. Add as much or as little information as you wish in each section and please be open and honest with your comments; we can only develop if we know where or what we need to improve. A number of broad areas have been identified but you are very welcome to add any other views or information you feel would be useful.
