Governors

Whilst the Headteacher has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school, the main function of Bean Primary School Governing Body is to secure a good education for the children in a safe environment.

The Governing Body meets at least six times a year and has four main Sub-Committees - Finance, Premises, Curriculum and Standards and Personnel. Free training is provided in all areas of Governor responsibility.

Involvement in the Governing Body provides a challenging and interesting way of being involved in your children’s education. If you are interested in becoming a Governor, please contact the Clerk to the Governors in the school.
