Ex pupil Jacob Horan came back to visit Redby today. He brought with him his Olympic Torch which he proudly carried as one of the region's team of Olympic Torch Bearers. Here he is with our Year 6 children who were delighted to see him - and his torch!!!
On the 10th of June 2010, Miss Todd, Mrs Henderson and our headboy and head girl headed off to the Northern Grid ICT Awards. We had entered into the PHSE and E-Safety section for our Parents' E-Safety sessions and our E-Safety week. We came highly commended.
Thank you to all parents who attended the sessions.
Look out for our actual award in the reception area at school!
Well done to Kaitlin Oxberry in Year 6 who won the 'Sunderland Firework Safety Competition'. For her efforts, she was awarded a framed copy of her poster and a WH Smith voucher. Her poster will be displayed in schools across Sunderland.
Well done Kaitlin, you should be very proud of yourself!

Redby Footballers are City's Best!!
Our 5-a-side team overcame strong opposition to claim victory in the Tournament of City Primary Schools which is a fantastic achievement. Contratulations to Jak Ashton, Declan Loughlin, Owen Smith, Jonathon Carr, Charlotte Thompson and Connor Drinkald for beating the other 6 teams to the top position!. They now go forward to the County finals and are up against teams from Consett, Ryton, Rickleton and Felling. We wish them well tomorrow. Good luck!!
