Summer Fayre Change of Date
Please note that we have had to change the date of our Summer Fayre to Friday 5th July at 3.30pm. It was due to have taken place the week before but it is transition at Monkwearmouth that week and our Year 6 children usually play quite a major role in the Fayre which is why we have had to rearrange the date. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Pupils Dress Code is posted below as a reminder for parents about the correct uniform. Please note that jogging bottoms are no longer a part of school uniform. School shoes should be black, with trainers only being worn for PE lessons. Indoor black gym shoes should be provided for your child also. As the evenings draw in you may wish to purchase a high visibility vest to keep your child safe. Details of these are available from the office.
We respectfully request that elaborate hair ornaments and coloured trainers are not worn for school. Also a reminder that girls should not wear 'leggings' under skirts.
Dinner Money should be sent into school each Monday in a named envelope. It would be much appreciated if parents could ensure this happens as the number of late payments caused severe difficulties in the school office last year and I am keen to avoid the same thing happening this year. You may pay for the full half term if you wish, Mrs. Hurst will be happy to let you know how much the payment would be. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Please can parents remember to send PE kit in to school on Monday each week. It is important that this kit comes into school each Monday and is taken home for washing on Fridays. Thank you for your cooperation in this.

Below you will find a document to report any e-safety issues which you become aware of. If you do have any concerns we will do our best to try and help.
Below there is a link for the Sunderland Parent Support Services. There are a wide variety of services on offer to parents in Sunderland and this brochure gives details of how, and where, they can be accessed. If you have any queries about the information please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
The Government have changed the Fair Processing Notice to a Privacy Notice. The current Privacy Notice is attached below for your information.
Parents often ask to have the National Curriculum levels explained. I have created a document (attached below) explaining the progression through the levels to help you understand how your child is doing in school. Hope it helps!
