School Closure News
23rd January 2013
St Peter's is open today.
Can I assure you closing the school for any reason is always a last resort and done only in the interests of keeping all the children safe.
If St Peter’s is ever closed these are the various ways we keep parents informed and up-to-date:
Texting
I am pleased to let you know that we are now able to text you if the school is closed. If you do not receive a text we are open. Please make sure that the school has up to date details of your mobile number, as we have found that quite a number of parents had changed their mobile phone numbers and unfortunately not informed school.
The Learning platform and school website
The school’s learning platform adn website will be updated by 7:30am each morning. I will inform you if school is open or closed at http://clc2.uniservity.com/GroupHomepage.asp?GroupID=287031 and http://www.darwenstpeters.org.uk
