We are a friendly pre-school based at Greenfield Lower School. Our premises are  solely used for childcare and is 100% safe and secure.

We have a bank of five qualified staff who are working within the new EYFS framework (Early Years Foundation Stage). We are open 5 days per week from 9.10am until 3.10pm.

We take children from the age of 2 years 6 months. These children will be charged at the normal session rate of £11.55 for 3 hours. Children aged 3 and over are funded for 5 sessions of 3 hours. They receive funding for the term following them turning 3. Additional sessions will be charged at £11.55 for 3 hours.

Our sessions run as follows:

  • Morning -   9.10 to 12.10
  • Afternoon - 12.10 to 15.10

Lunch is during the afternoon session, so children need to bring a healthy packed lunch if they attend the afternoon session.

All children benefit from close contact with the Lower School. They have use of their large outdoor equipment, regular visits into school and visits from the reception class teacher.

OFSTED

Our most recent Ofsted Inspection occurred on July 6th 2009;  the outcome was “Good”, which we are all very pleased with!  We have a copy on display in the pre-school if you wish to read it.

Ofsted quote “Links with parents are outstanding” and children are happy, feel safe and settled and as a result the children behave well, enjoy learning and quickly grow in confidence.”
