We are an environmentally-friendly school and have been awarded Green Flag Status. We have an eco committee which is made up of elected members of each year group.

The eco committee meets regularly to discuss how they can improve our school. Throughout the year the eco committee have been involved in organising a community litter pick, clearing the overgrown environmental garden, bulb planting in the school grounds, collecting DVD’s and CD’s for Barnados. We also recycle paper and plastic, and encourage people to walk or cycle to school to save on emissions, therefore reducing the carbon footprint. Our Eco Day will raise awareness throughout the school and the committee make signs to display around the school to encourage and remind people not to waste resources and electricity.
