|First Stop - Blists Hill Victorian Village
We stopped for lunch at Blists Hill Victorian village. Here we could see how people lived and worked in the Victorian times - we could even exchange our money at the Bank for their money and use it to buy things in the Village.
This was fun and scary at the same time, you went up the ladders in pairs then once the first person went down half-way, the next person could go. It was a fantastic experience, even some of the staff had a go - even though they were scared!
We went on this in pairs, the other children from our group had to pull us up to a height that we chose, then one of us had to let the peg out to make us swing. This was a big favourite with a lot of us! All you could hear was the wind in your ears whilst you were swinging.
As you can see we loved it!
