School Trips

Year 4 Visit Robinwood

Year 4 went on a 3 day residential trip to the Robinwood Activity Centre based at Dobroyd Castle in March 2012.

The pupils were accompanied by Mr Sharma, Miss Presst and Mr Hardy. The pupils braved the piranha pool, with

each and every pupil managing to avoid a near fatal bite from one of the world’s most feared predators. The pupils

also scaled the indoor trapeze and climbed a 50 foot high outdoor zip wire. They also explored the underground

caves and competed in canoeing contests. A great time was had by all involved and we are looking forward to

repeating the successful trip again in 2013.

Year 6 Try Out Castlehead

Elmridge Year 6 pupils spent a fantastic week at Castlehead participating in outward bounds and team building activities.   This is the first time that we had visited this centre and all the children enjoyed the wide range of activities available.  Mr Edmundson, Mr Tarry and Miss Zarcinas who accompanied the pupils were delighted with their attitude and behaviour.

We have booked for our current Year 6 to go in June 2012.
