Scarecrow Walk

In September 2008, the Baildon in Bloom committee organised the first of what was to become an annual event in Baildon, 'The Wacky Scarecrow Walk'

Schools, businesses and homes were invited to make and display a scarecrow at various points around the village.

Sandal, 'Garden Gang', managed to take the first prize with their school group of teacher Miss Ivy and her class of plant pot head scarecrow pupils!

This event now runs every year and is a really enjoyable family day.
