At Flore Day Nursery we have a dedicated team of professionals who work closely together to ensure the standards throughout are of the highest quality.
Our team consists of 18 members who are of a varied age range and hold a variety of qualifications and areas of expertise and are required to continue their professional development as well as up to date training of First Aid, Safe Guarding Children and CRB’S (Police Clearances).
Staff
We have a highly qualified team of nursery practitioners who, through their time & experiences in childcare and education, have developed a range of qualifications, skills & knowledge. Their qualifications include diploma Level 3 & Level 4 in childcare & education, as well as Foundation degree In Early Years and Early Years Professional Status.
The practitioners are managed by an experienced management team at all times and who have 10 or more years experience in child care as well as having children of their own.
The management team promote good communication through regular team meetings and effective practice by using in house training methods and outside professionals.
All three age groups, 0-2years, 2-3years & 3-5years, have a dedicated team of practitioners, who led by the team leader, have the role and responsibility to develop the children as individuals, through their interests and stages of development. The most efficient way for this to be completed is through the role of a key person.
A key person knows that parent’s are the child’s first educators and understand the importance of building a strong and positive partnership with them as well as with the child. By forming these partnerships the key person is able to support the child’s emotional well being as well as the parent’s.
