Weekly ICT Rewards

Each week, one pupil from each class from Year 1 to Year 6 are nominated by their class teacher or teaching assistant to receive the Sandal Achievement Award.

Pupils are nominated for various reasons which could be hard work in class or a special achievement in a lesson. Alternatively, they could be nominated for a friendship reason where they have shown particular kindness towards another pupil. We believe this reward scheme encourages pupils in their own personal development and character building, both in school and in the wider community.

When a pupil is nominated, a certificate is sent home to their parents explaining the reason why their child has been nominated and that they have earned 'computer treat time' in the ICT Suite on Thursday lunchtime with Mrs Harps.

Every Thursday in assembly, Mr Richardson will draw one slip out and that pupil will get an extra treat of taking a friend along to the ICT session with them.
