March - India and Japan here we come!
We are really looking forward to our time in India learning Indian dancing on Wednesday, then flying on Wednesday to Japan to explore Japanese arts, crafts and food.

February - We are off round the world !
On Monday we trekked to the Arctic.

We had a fabulous afternoon meeting a real life husky dog (thank you Noah H), meeting 2 Arctic explorers, learning how to keep fit in the cold, measuring a huge baby whale with our shoes, cubes and bodies and we even got to hold and smell real life squid and fish from the sea. We spotted lots of wildlife from the Arctic and are looking forward to the Antarctic on Wednesday and Australia next week !
 

January - Toys, Moving Toys and Robots!

This term we will be thinking about toys.. what they are made of, how they move, how we can sort, measure and describe them!

w/c 21 January - we will be focusing on Robots..

Please bring in any junk you have as we will all be designing and making a robot. We will also be looking at ourselves: finding out how we are all alike, and what makes us special. 

Mrs Castree and Mrs O'Connor would also like to say a special 'thank you' to all the children and parents - we had a fabulous first two weeks and are looking forward to the rest of the term.
