Changes at Copthorne
For one year only the Governors have agreed to Mrs Zaffar undertaking extra responsibilities. She is now Executive Head of both Copthorne and Lapage Primary in Bradford 3. This means that she has to spend a large amount of her time out of Copthorne.
In the meantime Mrs Waddington has taken taken on the role of Acting Headteacher here at Copthorne and Mrs Nazir and Mrs Whalley Acting Deputy Headteachers.
New Building Plans
The whole school Community is excited to be chosen to go in the first traunch of primary schools to be updated and improved. The work will be funded by the Primary Capital Programme and final plans are being drawn up.
Our 'Wish List' includes an extension which will house:
- New offices and entrance
- Multi-purpose Learning Centre for use by school and community
- Parents' Room
- Second hall and changing facilities
We also hope to completely update the facilities in Key Stage One and Lower Key Stage Two.
