We celebrate our achievements and thrive to always do our best. This comes in many different shapes and forms. Below are just some of our achievements awarded to the school by external organisations.

Edmund Waller was presented with the National Science and Engineering Week certificate in March 2010 for the forensic science week 'Who Stole Bob the Bear?'

Edmund Waller has been awarded the Sustainable Travel Accredited & Recognised Higher Level Award in 2009 and 2010 for increasing the number of young people and adults choosing ‘active travel’ over travelling by car and for moving in the direction of taking care of the environment. | |

Edmund Waller was awarded Eco Schools Bronze Award, January 2009. It was awarded because of the commitment every member of the community has to look after the environment. |

Edmund Waller was awarded funding from the Big Lottery Fund in April 2009 to provide cycle training to the whole community. The project will last for two years with a view to continue. The funding was sought through the London Cycling Campaign. Friends of Edmund Waller and Edmund Waller School Services also funded parts of the project. |

The Football Association awarded Edmund Waller Primary School with the Football Development Programme Award in recognition of achieving The FA Charter Standard for Schools in March 2005. |

Edmund Waller was awarded Healthy School status in 2007 for the changes and the journey made towards educating the school community on maintaining a healthier lifestyle. |

Edmund Waller was awarded Quality in Study Support in 2005 in recognition for the outstanding work towards the out-of-school-hours provision along with the community partnerships. |
The School Grounds Award was received by Edmund Waller, in 2005, for transforming part of the outside space which is believed to be essential to children’s learning and development. The grounds are a fundamental part of learning, supporting and developing friendship, communication and self-esteem. |

The Rolls-Royce Science Prize was awarded to the 'teaching science team'. The award was in recognition of the outstanding contribution to science teaching in 2005. |
