Financial Management Standard in Schools

The Financial Management Standard is a simple statement of what a school that is financially well managed should look like. Sound financial management is determined by assessing the school in 5 key areas:

  • Leadership and Governance
  • People Management
  • Policy and Strategy
  • Partnerships and Resources
  • Processes

Dundonald Primary School successfully achieved the Standard in 2008 following our first assessment. Our aim is to continue to improve the quality of our financial management systems by regularly reviewing the processes and procedures in use.
