World Book Day 7th March 2013

The Millfields Country Fair

Last Wednesday, October 3rd, Children and adults submitted entries for the 3rd Millfields Country Fair. The judging was carried out, at 2 o'clock, by a crack, impartial team of school Governors and the children were keen to learn if they had placed when the school day finished at 3 o'clock. Each class had organised a stall selling edible goodies in the hall and many of you came to view the entries and enjoy a cake, a cone of wedges or a bowl of soup. Many thanks to those that made it in. We are pleased to announce that the classes made over £400 to put towards class projects and we also managed to raise over £100 for St Helena's Hospice through selling donated cakes and breads.

Please enjoy some pictures taken of the afternoon.
