School Teams
From Reception onwards, Edmund Waller children are divided into school teams. This is a bit like the old fashioned 'house' system or the fictional house system in the Harry Potter stories.
The name for each team comes from a person who in some way represents the good in human achievement. These are people we can admire and look up to.
Like everyone else, none of them are perfect. They all have human failings. But they are some of our heroes. They are all heroes not because they won battles and conquered territory but because in each case they have tried in their lives to dedicate themselves to a skill or a cause that celebrates the best of us.
There are twenty school teams.
