I completed all my primary school here. Left in 1985. Made some great friends and had some brilliant teachers. The teachers back then were Mrs Williams, Mrs Hetherington, Mrs Caldicott, Miss Hinchcliffe, Mr & Mrs Bareham, Mr Galaxy, Mrs Lyons (headmistress) and Mr Eckersley (RIP-very sad to hear he had passed away). Had a fabulous 7 years there.

Had a bit of a trip down memory lane recently and was moved to look at St M's website - I had lots of happy times there from 1983 - 1986 and still keep in touch with old friends. You may remember a dear dear man, your Deputy Head, Mr Brian Eckersley who was teaching there when I was there. I am proud to say he was my dad, god rest his soul xxxxx

I enjoyed viewing the website and was very impressed by the wonderful variety of activities that the children are engaged in. The common gardens are a great idea.
I went to Malachy's over 30 years ago and loved every minute!
Is Mrs Bareham the same one from all those years ago?
