School Council

Our School Council is very pro-active in the life of our school.

This year their hard work has resulted in our school achieving FAIRTRADE SCHOOL STATUS! We are very proud of them!

Our School Council meets every fortnight to share ideas about school improvements and fundraising. The representatives report back to their classes and collect ideas from their classmates which are then shared at the next meeting.

Currently we are working on broadening and developing our Fairtrade Work. We ran a training session for other school councils in Calderdale schools to help them move towards the Fairtrade Schools Standard.

We will also be working on Easter Cards for the ill and housebound of our parish, bringing them some Spring cheer!
