What GWHS Counseling is About

The main aspects of our school counseling program include: individual student planning/counseling, group counseling, classroom guidance, parent consultations, teacher consultations and college counseling. We visit several classrooms each year to conduct classroom guidance on a variety of topics ranging from stress management to graduation requirements. 

Our goal is to help our students grow socially, emotionally and personally.

Parents please encourage your student to see their counselor about individual and group counseling opportunities. Also, please feel free to contact us with any questions and/or concerns regarding your student's success at George Washington High School.
