***Penpal Club***
We have a penpal club in Year 4 where we exchange letters with children at Northowram Primary School. We are always really excited when we receive a new set of letters. We love telling them about all the things we are doing in school.
***Sticky Fingers Cooking Club***
Each cookery course lasts for 6 weeks and up to 8 children can take part at a time. Sometimes we focus on healthy food but as you can see from the pictures below...sometimes we don't! We learn lots of new skills like how to use knives safely, how to bake and how to choose ingredients that go with each other.

Chess Club
Delancey UK Schools Chess Challenge
Another record year for chess club! 40 children took part in the 2013 chess challenge, with 11 children qualifying for the Megafinal in Sheffield. Of these, 5 children attended the final on Saturday, along with Mr Hoyle, Mrs Butterfield and Miss Holroyd. All the children played extremely well, winning a certificate and rosette each. Well done chess champions! During the rest of the summer term chess club is open to anyone, from year 2 upwards, who fancies a game, and a break from the outside heat!
