| This photo was kindly supplied by Mrs Brenda Rose. The legend on the reverse of the photo reads 'Sally Harper Dancers, Junior School, Norton Canes 1933.34'. These children would be into their 80's by now. Where do you think the photo was taken? |

| These photos are from 1938 and are of children who took part in the May festival. The theme was 'Alice through the Looking Glass'. The school surroundings look very different with less houses in evidence than today. |

| Also from 1938 these children are identified as the cast of the play 'The Magic Drum'. You can probably recognise the school entrance at which they are standing. |

Taken just a couple of weeks apart, these photo's show the end of winter and the beginning of spring.

This picture was taken taken with the Burntwood Road in the background and shows children in their final year at the primary school, prior to moving to the secondary school next door, probably in 1954 or 1955. It was sent in by Mr. Ralph Smallwood who can be seen in the picture on the left, standing in front of the teacher, Mr.Willits. |
