Mission Statement

Whether you are from an established family within the community, a new parent, an interested visitor, pupil or governor I am sure you will find something of interest in our website.

As Headteacher at St Joseph's, I have witnessed the friendly, welcoming environment that characterises our school.  I hope that any new members of our community will also feel the warmth and openess of our welcome.

The education children receive at St Joseph's has Gospel values at its very core; we are acknowledged in our local community as a good Catholic school with strong traditions and culture of inclusiveness.  All staff are enthusiastic and strive to encourage a love of learning and develop a climate of excellence.  We offer a broad, creative curriculum delivered through a wide range of teaching styles and extended learning opportunities to ensure that every child's needs are catered for.

Spell Anywhere ................. Maths Anywhere.  These sections can be found in the Kids' Zone and will contain weekly spellings and basic maths activities that can be used by children to consolidate their learning
