Welcome to the Sustainable Travel page!

In 2009, Dundonald achieved the Sustainable Level (Bronze) Award for Sustainable Travel. In 2010 we achieved the Silver Higher Level Accreditation. Our School Travel Plan sets out ways in which we could reduce the number of children travelling to school by car, and choose alternative transport. Our WoW (Walk on Wednesdays) and Bike It Projects have helped us to really focus on how to improve sustainable travel at our school.

We think the best ways to come to school would be to…

• Walk
• Cycle
• Scooter
• Public Transport (bus, tram or train)
• Park and Ride (If you really have to drive, why not park on the other side of the park and walk the rest of the way?)

This year we are aiming to achieve the Higher Level (Silver) Accreditation award for Sustainable travel.
