Our School Council represents the children of the school and has also been involved in a number of school events.
Our School Council has...
- Helped out at Christmas school bazaar stalls to raise money
- Thought of ideas for a stall to help raise money
- Discussed with Chris Mitchell (governor) who came to a school council meeting ways to spend the money we have to improve our school environment. Children were involved in some of the decisions and asking their own class for ideas.
- Decided to raise money through a 'Hats for
- Looked at how visual PSHE/SEAL is in the school and improvements that could be made to make the school a nicer place during Learning Walks around school.
- Worked with Mrs Harris on the Eco-Schools award.
- Gathered ideas for playground markings on both playgrounds
- Created ‘No Dog Fouling’ posters to be displayed around school
- Interviewed candidates for the position of Deputy Head Teacher and fed back their opinions to the panel.
