What parking facilities do you have? We have a drop off zone allocated specifically for the Nursery, within the private grounds of the building, where you are able to park whilst dropping off or collecting your child, attending a meeting or simply visiting the Nursery. The minimum sessions would be two half days either morning, afternoon or a combination of the two or one full day. How soon can my child start at the Nursery? Providing that there is a placement at the time of booking and all necessary paperwork and a booking fee has been paid (please see the booking page), we are able to accommodate an immediate start. We would however recommend a minimum of two settling in sessions prior to the desired start date, to ease with the transition, although these are not compulsory. How far in advance can I book a placement for my child? Once you have decided that Little Angels is right for you and your child, we recommend submitting the registration form and booking fee as soon as possible to secure the placement. There are no restrictions. How is outdoor play incorporated into the week? We encourage the children to use the garden daily and in most weather conditions, as we provide the babies with wet suits and ask parents to provide coats and wellington boots for the older children. Additionally the children use the garden as an outdoor classroom taking activities outside and even enjoying tea in the garden, weather permitting. Is there storage for my pushchair? Yes we have an area at the front of the building outside the main entrance to store pushchairs. What security measures do you have in place? The children's safety is of extreme importance to us and we operate many procedures to ensure access is only granted to staff, parents and their children and agreed visitors. The entrance is locked and fitted with a security camera allowing the Nursery Manager full visibility of all visitors. Additionally, all internal doors are fitted with a coded lock and doorbell restricting entry to staff. We also operate a password systems for the collection of children to ensure they are never released to unauthorised personnel. You will be asked to provide the Nursery with a list of authorised people permitted to collect your child and they will only be released to the named individuals providing that they are aware of the agreed password. We ask that you advise the Nursery staff if the main carers are not collecting the child. The premises are also manned 24 hours a day by the building security. |
