 Walk to School Month

October is Walk to School Month and we would like to encourage all the children to walk to school this month.

Walking to school has many benefits, not only is it good for your health and the environment, but it’s also fun and a great opportunity to socialise with your child, so why not try and include a ten walk in your journey to school. http://www.walktoschool.org.uk, http://www.walktoschool.org.uk/free-stuff/

School Grounds   

Please can we remind you that the Infant school gate is now locked at 9.00 am and remains locked until 3.00pm. If your child is late then please can you walk along to the Junior gate and sign the late book which is available at the school office.

Please can we remind you that both school's operate a no smoking policy anywhere on its grounds. Also dogs are not permitted on the premises.

Car Parking   

Please drive carefully when dropping your child at school in the morning and collecting in the afternoon. We ask for your consideration for residents and that you park in designated areas on Greenways. Parking is not permitted on the yellow zig-zag lines outside the school gates. Thank you
