Friends of Illogan School

The Friends of Illogan School was formed in 1998. The committee and its officers hold regular meetings usually on the second Tuesday of the month.

Their aim is to raise money for the school, but the activities which take place are also mainly enjoyable social events. Would you be interested in being more involved with the Friends of Illogan School?

Non-Uniform Day  Thursday 25th October (in exchange for chocolate for the tombola stall) Just to say lots of chocolate was collected and for safe keeping Mrs Teresa Davies has it safely locked away.!!!!

Xmas Shopping Night Tuesday 13th November

Please come and join us for a great evening and to buy your Christmas presents. Lots of fantastic stalls.

Jubilee Picnic

What a fantastic day was had by everyone at Illogan School on Wednesday 30th May.

It was a sea of red, white and blue.

The Friends provided the resources to enable this to go ahead.

Easter Eggstravaganza

The eggs for this event were paid for by the Friends

For the Eggstravaganza parents of KS1 were invited to come into school on the Monday to help make the Easter Bonnets with the children ready for the Parade on Wednesday. The classes paraded around the track with KS2 watching. After the parade the KS1 children had an Easter Egg Hunt, they had to find coloured cardboard eggs in return for chocolate eggs. The parents enjoyed Easter Biscuits made by the children and staff.

              SUMMER FETE RAISED £976.68

The Summer fete held on Friday 8th July was a great success even though we did not have blazing sunshine and had to contend with a few showers of rain it did not dampen the spirits of all those who attended.

The Sponsored Walk raised £578.  What a fantastic effort.

Many thanks to all who took part.  

 The sponsored walk on Friday the 13th May to Portreath School.

(Teaching Assistant Mrs Teresa Davies dressed as a pirate in return for sponsorship money).
