We have lots of fun!

 We have been learning about pirates.

We decided to have a pirate party......

We made some buns... 

 

                  

....and decorated them with skulls and X marks the spot!          

 

Pirate Rosie joined us.

      

We played Pass the Parcel

  

   

Inside each layer was some pirate treasure..   Freya was the winner of the prize

Then we wanted to play musical statues.

            

We also played musical chairs.

               

Then we had some party food..yummy!

           

Mrs Davies had made us some biscuits that looked liked skulls!

 

After that we all walked the plank....

Here we all are during our READ, WRITE INC session.

We learn to read letters then we learn how to write them.

On fridays we have a celebration assembly.

 

 

     

We have a focus for the week. Last week it was being ready to

learn after playtimes.

Ruan and Charlotte won the Merit awards.

   

This week Logan won the merit award for having

good manners at lunch time.

Our Harvest Festival......

We made some play-dough.

This is how we did it.

Pour one cup of water into a saucepan

Add half a cup of salt

    

Add one cup of plain flour

        

Add two teaspoons of cream of tartar and one tablespoon

of cooking oil.

     

Mix it up.

    

 

Cook it for a few minutes stirring all the time. 

    

It felt so warm.

    

     

     

     

 

We love play-dough!

On Thursday afternoons we enjoy singing lots of different songs with Mrs Hamblin.
