Hello, my name is Miss Jenkins. I have been teaching for fifteen years and I have worked in three different schools. My first school was in the Midlands and then I moved back to Yorkshire.
I have taught in Key Stage One for thirteen years and two years in a year three class. I am now currently working in Year Six.
This is my second year as assistant head and I am learning lots of new and exciting things. I am still the Special Needs Co-ordinator and this means I try to ensure that any child with additional needs, have the support and help they need to ensure they can achieve and enjoy in school. I am also the Literacy Leader in school. I ensure that the children have the opportunities to develop their reading and writing skills and to make Literacy as fun and exciting as possible.
I am developing new skills in Year Six and I am looking forward to working in Key Stage Two for the next few years.

If you won the lottery, what would you do (with the money?)
First of all I would give some money to my friends and family, I would buy an Audi or if I had millions I would buy a Masserati or an Aston Martin and I would love to travel around the world and visit as many countries as I could. Which 3 famous people would you invite for dinner? Why?
I would invite Jamie Oliver so he could cook the food and share lots of recipes with me, Katy Perry because I think she would know a lot of celebrity gossip and she could entertain us after dinner and the duo Matt Lucas and David Walliams because they are so funny.

I don’t have any pets.
What’s your favourite game?
Cluedo
What do you like to eat?
I like a wide variety of food including Chinese, Thai, Indian and Italian.

Which TV programmes do you like?
I enjoy watching Hunted, Paradise, Homeland and I have to admit if I am home in time I do watch Home and Away!
