All The World's A Stage!

The pictures show our children working alongside some fabulous musicians from Cardinal Griffin who are part of the Clanna Gael Irish ensemble. The day was made up from a morning of workshops led by teachers from Staffordshire Performing Arts and this culminated in a concert for parents at Cardinal Griffin High School.

What  great day!

Wow, im blown away by the amazing sigts at chester zoo on Thursday 31st May. my favourite animal their was the mirecats, they were so cute! Y6, Y5, Y4 and Y3 all split off into different groups and three coaches, 1, 2, 3 (I was on coach 1) Then we needed to get into pairs for the coach then after that, oh no the coach (2 or 3) broke down but a soon as we got there it took a little waiting but miss wayman and a few Y3's finaly came so we could all split off to go to the toilet. then we went off, I think we all got to go on the monarail. Emily (My partner) kept saying 'Monarail, monarail'! Because I kept saying tram, but I was wrong! So shortly after a few animal seeing y6 sat down for luch. yum yum, The monkeys were halarious because... well you can most likly guess that they were cheeeky but their bottems were red and after that we went into the bat cave! EEEEEK! But in the end it was very good. nothing to be scared of , we even saw the lizards, and I was spooked because to be fair, I just think lizards are scary. but thats just me. Any way, to rap this up, it was a great day, Every one enjoyed it! I hope KS1 did to on Monday! They most likly did!

I always visit the school website to read your many happy comments about the activities and work you are all taking part in at St Mary's. I will be back in England in July and will come to visit the school again. My fondest regards to you all and I hope Year 6 enjoy their final weeks at school.

Yesterday(30th May)key stage 2 went to Chester Zoo and it was an amazing experience. When we eventually got there, after seeing the OLYMPIC TORCH and one of the three coaches breaking down,we set off on the tour. We all wanted to see so many animals but even though we were there for the day we only got round to seeing about 3 quarters.Overall we had a fantastic day and the highlight for me was seeing the monkeys and the eagles, hopefully another school trip will come about before Year 6 leave St.Mary's PPLLEEAASSEE!! Thank you also to the school for organizing this awesome trip.
