School Jotter of the Week: Wirksworth Federation of Infant Schools

Published: October 18, 2013

This week’s School Jotter is Wirksworth Federation of Infant Schools. The hand drawn background is a real treat and is a great representation of both the school and the community. The footprints leading toward both Wirksworth Church of England  Infant School and Wirksworth Infant School show the warmth and connection the schools have towards each other.

The classes page brings another personal touch, allowing parents to see what is happening in their child’s school life, whilst the pupils can catch up on any information that is specifically relevant to their class.

Another great feature of this School Jotter 2 is the calendar – this highlights any up and coming events like half term or a road safety talk. What’s even better is that the date of the next event to take place is placed at the top of the page as well as on the calendar.

The special events page is perfect for those events that are worth talking about. It gives parents an insight of what happened and provides a memory for the children who attended. Not only is this page perfect for parents and pupils, but for visitors also – giving them an opportunity to see what exciting activities the school provide.
