Featured App: Surveys

Published: June 17, 2014

In the latest of our regular app blog posts, we take a look at the forthcoming Surveys app.

The purpose of Webanywhere’s suite of educational apps is to, ultimately, improve the quality of teaching and make teachers’ lives easier.
As we branch out into different ways of helping schools, spurred on and influenced by suggestions and feedback from teachers themselves, Webanywhere is launching more and more exciting apps. One of these is the new Surveys app.
Surveys is a very simple, but highly useful tool. It allows a teacher, or school, to create a survey about anything and aimed at anyone. It came into being after we’d received requests that ranged from a product that allowed parents to book parent’s evening slots, to suggestions for a website add-on that allowed visitors to rate your website’s features.

Being part of our suite of educational apps means Surveys can do both the above, and more. It allows you to create survey of any length, and with a variety of question types. The variety of question types means you can use the survey for just about anything: to create a form for parents to fill in to request parents’ evening slots, or to get feedback on your website from visitors. Surveys can be embedded onto any page on your School Jotter website.
Surveys can also be used internally – i.e you can create surveys for pupils, or other teachers, to answer.
One of the best – and most vital, in our opinion – features of Surveys is the survey results. The app compiles the results of every survey submission and colates them into useful graphs. It means that not only are all the results collated in one place, but you can also see, at-a-glance, all the data you need.
The Surveys app will be officially available from the end of June, but you can request a demo today here.
