Nottingham HOPE Academy provides education across multiple provisions for children and young people with complex health needs.
They asked us to create a school website that reflects this unique role – balancing professionalism with warmth, and clearly presenting the different sites and pathways while keeping the focus on the pupils’ wellbeing and personalised learning.
Solution
The website design combines a calm, reassuring tone with clear navigation that makes it easy to explore the five different provisions, from hospital wards to CAMHS units and education pathways. The visual layout reinforces the Academy’s mission of resilience, ambition, and care -giving families, staff, and partners an immediate sense of security and trust.
The site also highlights their vision and values with accessible language and bold statements, supported by strong imagery and thoughtful structure.
Result
The finished SEN website captures Nottingham HOPE Academy’s ethos: every child is unique, valued, and capable of success. Parents can quickly find essential information, while pupils see their identity and potential celebrated. The design communicates both professionalism and empathy, aligning perfectly with the Academy’s role as part of the NEXUS Trust and its commitment to personalised education.
