HBVC wanted a school website designed that didn’t just explain courses but showed its heart – helping young people with learning difficulties and autism to grow in confidence, independence, and skills for life. The challenge was to capture that supportive ethos in a way that felt clear, welcoming, and easy to explore.
Solution
The design shows HBVC’s values of Hope, Belonging, Value, and Communication.
The layout is simple and uncluttered, making navigation stress-free, while bold imagery and learner stories bring the community feel to life. Accessibility is clearly a priority, with information presented in a straightforward way that’s easy to digest, reflecting the college’s commitment to making every student feel included and understood.
Result
The finished website feels warm and practical at the same time prospective families get a clear sense of what HBVC offers, while also feeling the college’s supportive, student-first ethos. It shows HBVC not just as a place to study, but as a community where young people are encouraged to belong, thrive, and look ahead with confidence.
